Satoko is an excellent guide! She is extremely friendly and helpful, and was very accommodating of our tour group which had a wheelchair-bound elderly. She even went the extra mile to explore and plan in advance wheelchair-friendly routes for our tour, and made excellent food recommendations. Her explanations about the places we visited were clear, and she clearly knew a lot about the places we visited. She was our best guide during our trip, and we definitely recommend her! :)

Satoko is friendly and funny - although she has difficulty understanding humor if it involves a play on words. Her command of English in providing information as a guide is excellent. Provides historical as well as cultural information about what you are seeing. She knows where to shop - we loved the "Happiness" store in the Higashiyama area of Kyoto. Her daily rate is a BARGAIN - we spent the weekend with her.

We had a most enjoyable day with Satoko. She was a delightful and helpful host. We saw a great deal of Kyoto in a short time, while feeling we had a relaxing day. Travelling about on public transport was a great way to see the local people - it would have been impossible without a knowledgeable local guide. We were also able to enjoy an excellent but simple lunch in a small restaurant with no other westerner's present. Satoko was more of a friend showing her city than a professional tour guide.

Satoko is an amazing guide! We were a group of 21 and she helped us so much not only on the day she was guiding us, but other days too. For example, she helped us get tickets for a Hanshin Tigers game as well as the Kamogawa Odori. The seats were great for both events. Also, she helped us organize our entire visit to Arashiyama, reserving both lunch and dinner, and providing such clear instructions on everything. On the day she was with us, everything was beautifully thought out and done! We also would like to thank her so much for the pictures and just everything! I think we were spoiled to have Satoko as our guide first, because when we went to Tokyo, we did not have a very good experience with our Tokyo guide. I do hope we see each other again, either in Paris or perhaps the next school visit to Japan!

We would have never enjoyed Osaka if we didn't have Kuroda-San to guide us. Ifcthis is your 1st time in the Kansai region, I recommend you book her to guide you. She knows the places and the routes to take to ensure you have a great experience.

Thank you so very much for the pictures. As you can guess after 36 days on a ship it took a little time to get back into our daily routine. We had tons of mail to go through. I want to send you a few of our pictures especially the ones with you in them.
We had a great time with you as a tour guide, we enjoyed it a lot. Yes, the Miyako Odori show was very nice, although we couldn't understand the songs (Japanese) we got the meaning from the dancers. Everyone in Japan was very nice and helpful, we liked your country. Take care and thanks again for a great tour.

I wish you a healthy, happy, and successful year! We absolutely loved Kyoto and am missing it very much! We enjoyed your company and appreciate all your help showing us some of the highlights. We would have not been able to get around as efficiently and would have not seen all the lovely places we did if it weren't for you, so thank you! I've received the photos you've attached as well, thank you. It's fantastic memories now, but it felt like like only yesterday it was snowing and we were keeping warm with sake and okonomiyaki. We loved experiencing a traditional tea ceremony and I enjoyed matcha tea very much. Our family also was very happy to dress as maiko and samurai and will cherish the memory forever. Satoko, we will definitely be back to Japan! It's a wonderful country deserving of many trips and I hope one day we will meet again. Thanks and best wishes always.:)

Thanks a lot for your mind words. First of all we had a wonderful tour with you in Kyoto and the rest of our stay in Japan was wonderful as well. It was a great trip for us all. And we will definitely come back since we all enjoyed it a lot and there are so many things to do and places to visit still waiting to be discovered by us
